Meet Our Staff
Roger started Cabinets 4U in 1988 with a used pick-up truck and $22 worth of business cards. Today Cabinets 4U has a beautiful showroom, delivery trucks, warehouse facilities, and a staff of professionally trained designers and installers.
Roger and his family are long-time residents of Bolingbrook. Roger supports his community in many ways including his time and leadership skills. He is past president of the Lions Club, Past President of the Rotary Club and was the Charter President of the Kiwanis Club. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce.
Roger is very grateful to all of his customers who trusted their kitchens to a “hometown” company.
Susan is Roger’s spouse, Marc’s mom, and Sue’s aunt. After spending most of her working career as an accountant for other small businesses, Susan handles all the “back room” jobs for Cabinets 4U.
Many years ago, Susan worked in a Quilt Shop in northwestern Illinois, and learned to love the camaraderie of quilters, designers, and artists. She brings that passion to the staff and clientele of Cabinets 4U.
As the son of Roger and Susan, Marc is proud to have grown up in a small, professional family-owned kitchen and bath company. He has graduated from Delivery Driver, to Installer, to Designer, to Operations Manager. This gives Marc the unique experience and perspective to balance the fit and function for Cabinets 4U’s clients. Marc’s favorite aspect of his work is going on all final measures to insure that the cabinets and countertops will fit perfectly, and clarifying any questions or issues prior to material being ordered. Ultimately, Cabinets 4U takes full responsibility in providing the perfect kitchen or bath to our clients.
Marc recently moved to Minooka with his wife and daughter. He currently is a board member of the Minooka Lions.
Sue was born in LaGrange Park, grew up in Naperville, and lives there still. She is an empty nester and owns an awesome beagle.
Sue joined Cabinets 4U in 1996, in the pre-CAD years, and has seen the dramatic changes in kitchens and kitchen design. She has attended dozens of advanced trainings, in Illinois as well as Iowa and Canada.
Sue works as a client’s partner through the design process, sharing her knowledge and experience to achieve the best design for each client. From colors and styles to storage and focal point, through each step and decision, Sue can guide a client confidently through the entire process. Whether the challenge is a small space or a tight budget, Sue will offer creative solutions.
Following design trends can be a challenge, and Sue writes a Kitchen Design Blog, available on the Cabinets 4U website, to keep current. Her articles are viewed around the world, with over 13,000 views the past year. She also manages the company Houzz page, which showcases more than 70 completed projects. Sue also curates the company Pinterest page, and keeps the Facebook and Twitter pages interesting and informative.
Michael has worked in the Kitchen and Bath field with Cabinets 4U since 2001. He started in the kitchen/ project demolition part of the remodel, and has seen everything when it comes to remodeling or designing a new kitchen or bathroom space. Mike has installed over 2,000 kitchens. Being an installer for a small and professional cabinet company, you spend an abundance of time with the client. Mike has installed cabinets in homes, vans, trailers, bars, libraries, dental offices, and Dr.’s offices.
Since 2012 he has also been designing kitchens, and because of his install background he knows exactly what to look for when measuring a kitchen and what the installer needs to finish a job. Home remodels are much different than new construction: homeowners have a much better idea of how their new kitchen should be. The thing that Mike enjoys most about his job is seeing the transformation of a space — from the beginning stages to the final outcome is such an awesome experience. Mike also enjoys the fact that every job is different, and he’s always learning something new.
Mike lived in Bolingbrook for almost his entire life. He recently moved to Plainfield, IL where he lives with my fiance Kellie and their 3 daughters ( Allie , Addison, Annalyse.) and son Michael Jr. Mike has coached his oldest daughter’s softball team for the past 3 years. It has been a great experience to see how far the girls have come.
Sean was born and grew up in Naperville. As the son of a contractor, Sean grew up in the field. After graduation, Sean joined the Army Corp of Engineers, and was in the service for the next 6 years, including a tour in Iraq. He lives in Plano now, and enjoys remodeling his own home.
Sean has been with Cabinets 4U since 2013. As an Installer, Sean is involved in over 100 projects a year. With a finish carpenter skill set, Sean handles everything from baseboards up to stacked crown molding. Sean’s attention to detail and high standards make every project look like a show piece. In addition to the carpentry skill set, Sean’s interpersonal skills and problem solving make the kitchen remodel as smooth and stress free as possible. Sean also does design work. With his background as an installer and CAD programming, along with his knowledge of design principles, Sean has a great eye for functionality, as well as aesthetically appealing kitchen designs.
